Find answers to common questions about our restaurant, menu, and
services.
What kind of fish do you use in your sushi?
We use the freshest, seasonal fish available. Our commitment to quality means we source our fish from sustainable fisheries and trusted suppliers. Salmon, tuna, yellowtail, and mackerel are some popular choices, but we also offer a variety of other options depending on the season.
I don't like raw fish. Do you have any cooked sushi options?
Absolutely! We offer a variety of cooked sushi options like shrimp tempura rolls, eel nigiri, and spicy tuna rolls where the tuna is seared. We also have a dedicated menu of cooked Japanese dishes like teriyaki, tempura, and noodle bowls.
Is your sushi haven vegetarian-friendly?
Yes! We have a selection of vegetarian sushi rolls featuring vegetables like avocado, cucumber, and pickled vegetables. We also offer vegetarian nigiri options like tofu skin nigiri and avocado nigiri. Additionally, many of our cooked dishes can be made vegetarian upon request.
What is the proper way to eat sushi?
There's no single "right" way to eat sushi, but here are some traditional guidelines: * Use chopsticks or your fingers (washed beforehand) to pick up the sushi. * Consume the sushi in one bite if possible. * Soy sauce is traditionally used sparingly for dipping. Soy sauce already plays a role in seasoning the rice, so it's best to let the natural flavors shine first. * Wasabi paste is already added to some sushi, but you can add a touch more to your liking.
Do you offer any lunch specials?
Yes! We have a variety of lunch specials available on weekdays, featuring sushi rolls, nigiri combinations, and bento boxes at a great value. You can find our current lunch specials on our website or by calling the restaurant.
